I can't upload an image / photo / logo because it's too large? How do I reduce the file size?

Any image you use with the app has to be downloaded by the users and impacts your onsite bandwidth needs. Ensure that you are using the smallest file size possible for any graphics you create. For example, avoid gradients and photographs in the launch graphics to ensure a small file size.

  1. Check if the dimensions of the image are correct for the type of file you are uploading. For example, speaker images or exhibitor logos do not need to be larger than a few hundred pixels at 72dpi.
    1. Resize your image using your favorite image editor and match the width or height suggested in the CMS
  2. If your image width and height are correct, use http://tinypng.org to reduce file size
