For the best attendee experience, we recommend providing support email addresses in your general information view. This will help attendees get their questions to the right place. Examples of emails you might want to include are your registration team's, or the support address for the 3rd party platform hosting virtual content for your conference.
You can make the email address a hyperlink that will open an email client. The link is entered in the same way, but whereas a typical link has the format https://www.ativsoftware.com, an email link has the format mailto:email@example.com.
In the general information view, type the email address in the relevant section.
In a custom view, add a paragraph object and type the email address there.
Then, highlight/select the email address and click the link button, indicated with the arrow in the screenshot below. Add the email link in the "URL" field, then choose Confirm.
As a reminder, you'll need to publish a data update to see and test your changes on the EventPilot platform.
Note: Email links are not supported via the Action Builder (e.g. from a home screen button or app tab). Please create a custom view to include the email following the steps above. Then, point the button or tab to that custom view.
