How do I import session credits data if I have multiple credit types?

Modified on Tue, 17 Dec at 5:39 PM

If you allow your attendees to choose between different different credits to claim, you would need to assign the different credit types to each session and the number of credits available per credit type.

For example, you have one session with ID 477063 which is accredited for 2 credits CME but only .5 credit CNErx.

To set this up, follow the steps below:

Set up a Spreadsheet

Your Project Manager can provide you with a Google Sheet that contains three columns for you to complete

Column 1: Session ID
Enter the session ID for the session where credit claiming would be possible. One single session ID per row.

Column 2: Credit Type
For that session ID, enter the abbreviation for the credit type. For example CME, CNE, CPE, ABP, ...

Column 3: Credits (Credit Amount)
Enter the total credit for this session for the respective credit type

If you have a session with multiple credit types, create a new row for each credit type. Only list a single credit type in each cell in column B. Only list one single number in cells in column C.

In the example below, session with he ID 477063 has two different credit types: one CME for 2.00 credit hours and one CNErx for .50 credit hours.

Set up the Data Source

This step is typically set up by your Project Manager.

If you only offer one single credit type across all sessions, your Project Manager may be able to use the Agenda data import. If you offer multiple credit types or you are unable to include credit details in your a, your Project Manager will use the spreadsheet described above.

Data Updates

All data updates to accredited sessions must be completed before the conference has started and before attendees start claiming credit.

  1. Update the Credit Sessions page:
    1. update your Google sheet
    2. in the App Builder, select Add Ons > Credits
    3. On the Credit Session page, click the Import All Credits button
  2. Update the agenda filters
    1. in the App Builder, select Agenda > Sessions
    2. open the import source card - your Project Manager should have created an import source for you called GGL Credits
    3. click the Import button

If the agenda filters had to be updated, a data publish to the app is required. Always review your updates in the platform directly after a data publish.
