Open your browser on your device or your computer and go to http://speedtest.net
Wait for the page to load and press the Begin Test button once it appears
Speedtest will run a test and provide details of the download and upload speed. Run the test multiple times to get a better idea of the average speed over time.

You will be presented with the results similar to this:
