Yes, you can publish a data update while a virtual event is going on. The important caution is what you change and whether you regenerate a live Zoom session.
What is safe
You can publish data updates at any time.
Important warning for Zoom sessions in progress
If you update the date or time for a webinar or meeting in the Conference App Builder, go to Add-Ons > Virtual Sessions to regenerate the affected events in Zoom.
- If you regenerate the date or time for a Zoom session that is currently going on, you will force end that session.
- This applies to changes on the top-level session, not lower presentation-level items.
- Do not change your program data for a session that is currently in progress.
