Important: This article is only relevant to conference organizers who wish to install the proof version of their EventPilot Pro branded or multi-event shell app on their iOS device.

On Apple devices running iOS 16 or newer, you must enable the Developer Mode setting in order to install the proof app. This is a security measure. More info: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode/enabling-developer-mode-on-a-device

If you're not sure what version of iOS you're running, please refer to this article from Apple: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201685

To enable Developer Mode:

  1. Access the Settings on your iOS device
  2. Locate Privacy & Security
  3. Scroll down to Developer Mode > tap it
  4. Toggle Developer Mode ON
  5. Confirm
  6. Your device will restart. You should now be able to install and open the proof app.
