The Conference App Builder is designed for fast loading. However, on a misconfigured home, hotel, or corporate network you could see slow-loading behavior.
If your pages load slowly, check for IPv6 Conflicts on your local connection. Your computer is trying to use a newer internet connection method that doesn’t work properly on your network, so it waits and then switches to the old one, which makes pages load slowly.
Mac
- Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner and open System Settings
- Go to Network
- Select the internet connection you’re using (usually Wi-Fi)
- Click Details (or Advanced, depending on macOS version)
- Open the TCP/IP tab
- Find Configure IPv6 and change it to Link-local only
- Click OK or Save, then close System Settings.
After this, try loading a website again. Pages should open much faster.
Windows
Click the Start menu and open Settings.
Go to Network & Internet.
Click Advanced network settings.
Select More network adapter options.
Right-click your active connection (usually Wi-Fi or Ethernet) and choose Properties.
In the list, find Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
Uncheck the box next to it.
Click OK and close the windows.
After this, try loading a website again. Pages should load faster.
If needed later, you can turn it back on by re-checking the box.
